IBSA Institut Biochimique SA is a private pharmaceutical company founded in 1945 by a group of Swiss biologists.
Based in Lugano, Switzerland, IBSA started its activities at the national level but soon became a consolidated company worldwide.
Currently, IBSA has 1800 employees and markets its products covering 7 main therapeutic areas on 4 continents and in more than 70 countries. Every year, the company produces about 12 million bottles of hormones, more than 200 million soft capsules and about 60 million packages of finished products.
